Hyderabad, Dec 19 (UNI) A major fire broke out in a scrap godown at Madannapet in the old city of Hyderabad, under the limits of IS Sadan Police Station, in the early hours of Thursday.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
Upon receiving information, five fire tenders and police teams rushed to the spot and successfully extinguished the flames.
The goods stored in the godown were destroyed in the fire. According to fire department personnel, the blaze is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway, police stated.
